Michele Pirovano, the creator of the indie game dotAGE, has released a free update for the game's one-year anniversary on Steam. The update, called the Birthday update, includes new features such as the Merchant VIP with three new events, a celebration for players who play on October 4th, mini-events that occur after the apocalypse, and localization in Japanese, Spanish, and Russian. The update also includes quality of life improvements such as hotkeys, improved controller support, new settings for accessibility and gameplay, and various other changes for a more streamlined experience.

DotAGE is a turn-based survival roguelite village-builder that is inspired by worker placement board games. The game is available for purchase on Steam and GoG for PC, macOS, and Linux.
