Mindscape and Dav Pilkey have unveiled the first look at gameplay for the upcoming 2D side-scrolling platformer, Dog Man: Mission Impawsible. The game is set to be released on Dec. 6, 2024, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. Players can look forward to 50 exciting levels spanning five diverse worlds, with the goal of catching the thief who stole the key to the city. They can switch between Dog Man and his Supa Buddies, each with unique abilities and gadgets, to overcome obstacles and defeat bosses. The game will feature puzzles, bosses, and gadgets, as well as humor and action, rewards and collectibles, and an art style inspired by the books. A demo of the game will be available at Steam Next Fest from October 14-21.

Dav Pilkey is the author and illustrator of the Dog Man graphic novels, as well as the Captain Underpants series. He was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia as a child and struggled in school, but found solace in creating his own comic books.
