Early Access Indie Game Pc GamesDMZ: Nuclear Survival is an upcoming multiplayer open-world survival craft game from Wild Dog Inc., an indie game development studio based in Saitama, Japan. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world after a nuclear war, on the supercontinent of Pangaea. Players can establish a private military company, train survivors as soldiers, and explore, excavate relics from ancient ruins, and fight for survival in this procedurally generated map.
The game offers editable terrain, allowing players to excavate and raise the ground to construct caves, fortresses, trenches, and more. Beneath the surface lie hidden mineral veins and ancient ruins, where tools like shovels, dynamite, and even nuclear weapons can be used to unearth valuable resources.
Players can train soldiers by capturing NPCs in the field, who can be assigned to training facilities like gyms and shooting ranges, or provided with food to enhance their abilities. Ancient warriors can also be resurrected by extracting genes from excavated relics and bones. Combat is intense, involving both NPCs and other players, with soldiers trained by the player able to accompany a squad of up to three members.
Players can construct bases both above and below ground, with captured humans and animals able to be placed and assigned to work in farms, factories, and other facilities. The game features an economy where items and buildings scattered across the world each have their own asset value, and players can view their total assets in a ranking format. The goal is to become the wealthiest individual in the world and dominate it.
DMZ: Nuclear Survival offers immersive PvE and competitive PvP multiplayer modes, with players able to set up dedicated servers and play with over 100 players. Friends can be invited to establish a powerful military corporation. Offline single-player mode is also fully supported, providing a complete experience for solo players. The game is planned for release on Steam for Windows 10/11, with support for Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Korean languages.
