The Pokémon Company International has announced the release of a new expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), called Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions. The expansion will be available worldwide on January 17, 2025, and can be pre-ordered at the Pokémon Center in the UK, US, and Canada. The expansion features Eevee and its eight Evolutions as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, and will be available in Elite Trainer Boxes and various collections with accessories and items featuring these Pokémon.
Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions will include unique special illustration rare cards, premium parallel cards with Poké Ball or Master Ball etched in the card background, and noteworthy cards such as six ACE SPEC Trainer cards, 10 Pokémon ex and 15 Tera Pokémon ex, 12 ultra rare Supporter cards, 32 special illustration rare Pokémon ex and Supporter cards, and five hyper rare gold etched Pokémon ex cards.
The expansion will be available in various products, including the Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box, Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Binder Collection, Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Poster Collection, Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Tech Sticker Collection, Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tin, Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box, Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Booster Bundle, and Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Accessory Pouch Special Collection.
Additional products from the expansion will be available later in 2025, including the Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection and the Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Premium Figure Collection. Fans can also play with Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions digitally via the Pokémon TCG Live app for iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows devices on January 16, 2025.
