The devcom developer conference 2025, set to take place in Cologne, Germany from August 17-19, has revealed its first major program highlights and the first 50 speakers. The conference will feature a keynote from the creators of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Ievgen Grygorovych and Mariia Grygorovych, who will discuss the game's development process under challenging conditions. Other highlights include a session from Fleur Marty, Executive Producer at Gearbox, on building resilience in game development teams, and a postmortem of the game Rescue on Fractalus! by David Fox, President and Co-Founder of Electric Eggplant. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online experiences. In 2024, devcom saw over 5,000 unique participants and 350+ speakers across more than 210 sessions and 17+ stages. Early bird ticket pricing ends on May 31, and the deadline for Indie Showcase Submissions and Scholarship Programs Partner Applications is also on May 31 and May 23, respectively.
