Destiny 2: Revenant Preview - New Content, Model for 2025 Revealed

The livestream showcased new features, including tonic brewing, Onslaught: Salvation, new weapons, Artifact perks, and more. The developers also shared some exciting details about the storyline of Revenant and the return of major characters from the Destiny universe. The recorded livestream can be watched to prepare for the launch next week.
In addition to the Revenant update, the developers announced Codename: Frontiers, a new content model for Destiny 2, which is planned for release in 2025. This new model will feature two medium-sized expansions per year and four major free updates. The updates will focus on non-linear storytelling, systemic innovation, and enhanced core game activities. The size of the expansions will be comparable to Destiny: Rise of Iron, released in 2016. These new expansions will have a significant impact on the overarching storyline of Destiny 2 and will introduce major changes to armor, including new stat ranges and set bonuses to enhance build-crafting options.
Destiny 2: Revenant launches on October 8, with a new dungeon, Vesper’s Host, launching on October 11. The game will also feature Destiny 2’s first-ever Dungeon Race with Twitch Rivals, which will take place on October 11 at 10:00 AM PT. Fans can tune in to the Twitch Rivals Dungeon Race stream to catch all the action.
