SEGA has revealed a new trailer for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, offering fans a closer look at the game's enhanced combat mechanics and new features. The game is set to launch on August 5, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam.

The new systems and features in The Hinokami Chronicles 2 include Dual Ultimates, where players can team up through certain character combinations to unleash stylish new Dual Ultimates to devastate their opponent. The Gear system allows players to customize their loadout with items that can be unlocked through the game. Training Paths challenge players to advance through a series of tournament brackets with ever-changing victory conditions. The Path of a Demon Slayer mode lets players review the story covered in The Hinokami Chronicles 1. Mastery leveling up rewards players with different unlockables.

The Digital Deluxe Edition of the game includes the base game, Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Keys, Character Unlock Keys, VS Mode System Voice, Battle Attire Costumes, and pre-order bonuses.
