SEGA has announced that the game "Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!" will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam on July 16, 2024. The game, which is already available on Nintendo Switch, is based on the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Pre-orders for the digital edition (€59.99) come with a set of four stamps featuring Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira, as well as three premium tickets that can be exchanged for various rewards in the game. A physical edition is also available for pre-order on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, a free update with new playable characters Kanao Tsuyuri and Genya Shinazugawa will be released in the summer of 2024. The game is a virtual board game featuring events and mini-games for up to four players, both locally and online. Players can choose from iconic characters from the Demon Slayer Corps, including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and various Hashira, and can play as Nezuko in a supporting role. The game features various mini-games and the ability to collaborate with other players to defeat powerful demons.
