RocketBrush Games has announced the demo release of their card-based medieval alchemy game, Ways of Alchemy, which is now available during the Steam Next Fest from February 24 to March 3, 2025. Players are invited to explore the game's core mechanics and experience the life of a banished medieval alchemist.

Ways of Alchemy puts players in the role of a young alchemist who starts with a small shack, grows herbs, gathers ingredients, and brews potions. As their reputation grows, so does their influence, enabling them to hire adventurers for dangerous quests and collect rare ingredients. The game features a unique alchemical system based on the five pillars of reality: Void, Mirror, Veil, Pain, and Song. Players can master over 35 potions, collect nearly 100 alchemical ingredients, and discover countless recipes.

The game offers various features, including recruiting and equipping adventurers, brewing different potions, exploring a vast ingredient arsenal, and looting rare items. Players can also choose from 15 subclasses, such as pure alchemy or darker paths like necromancy or flesh-smiting. The ultimate goal is to complete the Great Making in one of 13 possible endings, each reflecting the player's choices.

The Ways of Alchemy demo is now available on Steam, and players are encouraged to add the game to their wishlist for updates. RocketBrush Games, known for their pixelated rogue-lite title The Unliving, developed Ways of Alchemy, which is set for release in Q2 2025.
