Deathbound is an upcoming dark fantasy game set in the brutal world of Ziêminal, where players must navigate a ruthless environment filled with dangerous creatures and unyielding warriors. The game features a unique 4-hero soulslike party system, which allows players to bind with fallen warriors and switch between them seamlessly during combat. Each fallen warrior has their own unique skill set, combat style, and history, and the relationships between characters greatly impact gameplay.

Players must manage the relationships between characters, as aligning opposing factions close to one another in the vessel will cause conflict, while strong synergies with shared beliefs may offer combat buffs. The game features a sync meter shared across all characters, which, when charged, can be used to unleash a devastating Morphstrike with the combined power of the party.

Deathbound is set to launch in 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. A demo is currently available on Steam, and players can wishlist the game on Steam and join the official Deathbound Discord server to stay updated on the game's development.

Key features of Deathbound include the ability to gain the skills, memories, and identities of fallen warriors, a robust party system with talent trees, dynamic morphing to unleash powerful Morphstrikes, a brutal world with diverse cultures and imposing architecture, and challenging enemies and bosses based on the five stages of grief.

Trialforge Studio, the game's developer, is a Brazilian-based studio focused on delivering a unique and memorable game experience. The game's publisher, Tate Multimedia, is a Poland-based independent developer and game publisher known for creating the Kao the Kangaroo and Urban Trial series.
