Death Kid: Indie Brawler Coming to Consoles with Exciting Progression

The indie game Death Kid, a cryptic arena brawler developed by Crooked Games, is being ported to multiple consoles by Take IT Studio. The game, which is currently in development for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, is known for its fast-paced combat, layered meta progression, and unique enemies.

In Death Kid, players control a cursed protagonist fighting to restore balance between life and death. The game features eight levels, each with its own unique enemies and hazards, and players must protect three souls to unlock deeper layers of the well. As players progress, they can gain XP, build and customize their power with passive upgrades and unlockable abilities, and use enemy powers to their advantage. The game also features a rage mode, dynamic side events, and a challenge mode for players seeking a greater challenge.

Take IT Studio, known for their technically solid console adaptations, is handling the console port of Death Kid. While a release date has not been announced, the game is expected to be available on all current platforms.
