Dauntless: Awakening Arrives with New Behemoth, Weapons, and Cross-Platform Play

The popular co-op action RPG, Dauntless, is set to release its most significant update, Awakening, on December 5th. The update will be available on Steam, in addition to consoles and the Epic Games Store, with cross-progression capabilities allowing players to transfer their progress across platforms.

The Awakening update introduces a new Behemoth, Karkonos, developed in collaboration with the Dauntless community. Players can defeat Karkonos in the new Twilight's Domain hunting ground to earn parts for the coveted Brineguard Armor Set.

Dauntless: Awakening brings 18 new weapons, with seven available early in the game and 11 more obtainable through Weapon Tokens earned in weekly challenges and the free and paid tracks of the new Hunt Pass. Each weapon has a unique special ability, can be leveled up to 60, and has 25 unlockable talents. Players can now equip both a weapon and a subweapon, with both gaining equal XP.
