Darkest Dungeon II Unveils Secrets of the Coven DLC - Free Update Out Now

Pc Games Role Playing Game Early Access Indie Game Nintendo Switch Sony PlaystationRed Hook Studios, the creators of Darkest Dungeon, have released the second of three adventure modules for Darkest Dungeon II called Secrets of the Coven. This free update is available on Steam for PC and Mac, with console versions to follow soon. To celebrate the release, Darkest Dungeon II is currently 50% off on Steam until April 21st, with both DLCs discounted.
Secrets of the Coven is a Kingdoms mode adventure, which is a free game mode that introduces a fresh, reimagined structure alongside three adventure modules. Unlike the original Confessions mode, Kingdoms tasks players with defending the realm and a network of inns against powerful new enemy factions, including the ravenous beastmen.
Darkest Dungeon II is a rogue-lite turn-based road trip of the damned, featuring all new 3D visuals in the same distinctive style as the original, a new run-based road trip structure, an enhanced version of the innovative turn-based combat system, fourteen playable heroes, five regions, five end bosses, and a metagame hub with extensive persistent upgrades.
Red Hook Studios is a video game developer based in Vancouver, BC, founded by industry veterans Chris Bourassa and Tyler Sigman. The critically acclaimed Darkest Dungeon was the company's first product and has sold over 6 million copies. The team recently released Kingdoms, a new free game mode for Darkest Dungeon II.
