Indie Game Pc Games Early Access Free To Play Action Game Role Playing Game

Onigiri, a game development studio, has announced that the demo version of their upcoming game, Dark Samurai, will be released on May 10, 2024. Dark Samurai is a roguelike horde survival game set in feudal Japan, where players must fight off waves of demons in a persistent open world.

The demo version of Dark Samurai will feature two playable characters, each with unique abilities. Players can choose to play as a samurai, using a katana to slay demons in close combat, or as an archer, picking off demons from a distance with a bow and arrow. The demo will also include seven distinct weapons, such as shuriken and explosives, and thirty unique upgrades that can be used to enhance damage, range, and critical strikes.

In addition to these upgrades, players will also be able to make permanent improvements to their characters after each run, allowing them to take on even tougher demons in future playthroughs.

Onigiri is committed to transparency in the development process and has set up a Trello board where players can follow along with work-in-progress tasks. The demo is just a small preview of what's to come in the full version of Dark Samurai, which is expected to include even more characters, weapons, and upgrades.

Dark Samurai is a roguelike horde survival game with permanent progression, a persistent open world, quests, and online co-op. The full version of the game is not yet available, but players can get a taste of what's to come by trying out the demo on May 10, 2024. For more information, visit the Dark Samurai page on Steam or the Onigiri website.
