Cyberpulse Launches on Steam: A Frenzied Twin-Stick Shooter with a Twist

Cyberpulse, a genre-blending twin-stick thrower game, is now available on Steam for $14.99, with a 15% release discount. Developed by Scherzo Games and published by Digital Tribe, Cyberpulse combines the adrenaline of twin-stick shooters, the speed of shmups, and the exploration of metroidvanias. Instead of shooting bullets, players control cyberkinetic forces to hurl viruses into molten firewalls.

The game features a polished single-player campaign, which can be played in local two-player co-op mode. Additionally, it has a four-player versus mode, allowing players to customize dozens of settings and create a unique multiplayer experience.

Cyberpulse offers over 50 levels in a non-linear campaign, with a diverse cast of enemies, bosses, and collectible secrets that reward exploration. Each level is hand-crafted with just enough randomness to stay fresh as players chase high scores.

Inspired by classics like Geometry Wars and Towerfall Ascension, Cyberpulse includes local two-player co-op and four-player competitive multiplayer modes. Players can customize dozens of settings to create their desired gameplay experience, from a crazy party game to a competitive arena brawler.

Cyberpulse is the passion project of Gabriel Gardner, who drew inspiration from games he loved playing with family and friends while growing up. After studying computer science at UC Berkeley, Gardner spent years working on his dream of creating his own game.

Digital Tribe Games is an experienced video game accelerator and publisher that partners with creative, bold, hardworking, and innovative indie artists to bring compelling content and experiences to market. Scherzo Games is a new game development studio founded by Gardner, focused on creating unique and engaging gaming experiences.
