Curve Games Joins Nazara Technologies: A New Chapter in Gaming

Pc Games Indie GameCatalis Group, a UK-based games publisher, has sold its subsidiary Curve Games to Nazara Technologies, India's leading publicly listed diversified gaming company. Curve Games, known for popular titles such as Human Fall Flat and For The King II, will continue to operate independently from its London office. The acquisition includes Curve's in-house development studios, Runner Duck in Brighton, UK, and IronOak Games in Vancouver, Canada.
Curve Games' Executive Chairman, Stuart Dinsey, expressed his excitement about the deal, stating that Curve will build on its success in console and PC gaming while exploring new opportunities in mobile gaming with Nazara. Sharon Baylay, Catalis Group Chair, praised Curve's achievements and wished the team well in their new journey with Nazara.
Nazara Technologies CEO, Nitish Mittersain, highlighted Curve's expertise in publishing and strong track record with indie studios, making them a perfect fit for Nazara's vision in premium gaming. He emphasized the company's commitment to scaling high-quality game IPs, investing in new development, and supporting passionate indie creators.
Curve Games recently released Badlands Crew and has upcoming titles such as Human Fall Flat's next update and Wobbly Life on Nintendo Switch. Nazara Technologies, which committed $100 million to expand its games development and publishing ambitions, acquired Fusebox Games in 2021.
