Crypt Stalker is an 8-bit Metroidvania platformer game that brings back the nostalgia of the golden era of early gaming. The game features pixel art and challenging levels designed to evoke emotions that were one-of-a-kind during that time. Players take on the role of Gladys, a descendant of stalkers, tasked with defeating demons before they destroy Earth. This time, demons have appeared in the pyramids of the damned, located in the middle of a desert.

Gladys is armed with a cyber whip, a reliable laser gun, and a powerful side arm, and her mission is to prevent the demon invasion from taking place. The game features 9 stages, each with diverse locations such as pyramids, a lake of fire, or overgrown ruins, and 13 massive levels to finish with big bosses that stand in players' way. Gladys, as the legendary Crypt Stalker, will break through demon defenses, drive out underlings, and shoot them down while avoiding deadly traps.

Replenishing ammunition and lost health is possible by breaking the blocks passed along the way. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch from the 22nd of March and is currently available on Steam. Crypt Stalker will be available in two difficulty levels: original and casual mode, and accompanied by dynamic chiptune music.

RedDeer.Games, the developer of the game, encourages players to visit their official website, Facebook, and Twitter pages to stay up-to-date with their projects. Overall, Crypt Stalker promises to be a challenging and exciting game that brings back the nostalgia of early gaming while providing a unique and engaging experience.
