Players take on the role of Val, a mechanic from the city's slum district, and use their drones to fight off robotic guards in one-on-one combat. The game features a sprawling dystopian world, with an elaborate story and 32 main quests and 43 sidequests.

City of Springs combines elements of Horizon Zero Dawn and Clash of Clans, allowing players to choose whether to fight or sneak past guards and cameras.
