Pc Games Role Playing Game Indie Game Early Access Free To PlayPublisher 2P Games and WolfSmoke Studio have announced the upcoming release of their adventure puzzle RPG, The Mystery Mist, on Steam. In a world with racial tensions, a toxic mist is spreading, bringing death to anyone who enters. Players will assume the role of Yaqing, an apprentice to a mysterious physician, learning to use insects to craft life-saving medicines and save his sister.
The game features a toxic mist that covers everything, and crossing its borders is a death sentence. However, when Yaqing's sister falls victim to the mist's poison, he must journey to find a legendary physician who can teach him how to blend insects with other materials to create medicinal vessels. The game takes place in the vibrant yet divided Hidden Town, where players can interact with over 120 unique NPCs, each influencing the story's outcome. By gathering rumors and forming relationships, players can unlock new quests and explore the town's long-standing conflict.
The Mystery Mist features three main endings and up to 20 side endings, with over 350,000 words. WolfSmoke Studio, founded in 2006, is known for producing fantastic anime with unique art styles, while 2P Games, founded in China, has released successful indie games like Immortal Life, Dust to the End, Greedland, The Hungry Lamb, and Looper Tactics. The Mystery Mist promises an epic journey to save a sister, learning to craft life-saving medicines, befriending and interacting with the inhabitants of the Hidden Town, and exploring the town's hidden strife between two warring races.
