Pc Games Indie Game Role Playing Game Action Game Early AccessCotton Game, an independent game development company based in Shanghai, has announced that their game, Sunset Hills, is competing in the DevGAMM Awards 2024 for several prestigious accolades, including Excellence in Visual Art, Excellence in Audio, Excellence in Narrative, and Best Mobile Game. The nominees will be announced on October 29, and the awards ceremony will take place in Lisbon on November 15.
DevGAMM is a growing gamedev conference that brings game developers, publishers, and investors together to celebrate their love of games. The DevGAMM Awards is a competition for indie developers and small studios, with a prize pool of $100,000 in real cash and additional nominations and prizes from sponsors.
Sunset Hills is a narrative-driven game where players take on the role of the protagonist, Nico, traveling by train to visit former comrades in each city. Along the journey, they encounter various people and events, solving puzzles and gradually experiencing the diverse aspects of life. The former comrades live different lives, and after reunion, they recall their past war experiences, unraveling the war and Nico's past. This slowly reveals the true purpose behind Nico's current journey.
