Contra: Operation Galuga Gets Limited Run Physical Release - Pre-Orders Open March 1st

Limited Run Games, in partnership with WayForward and KONAMI Digital Entertainment, has announced the North American physical release of Contra: Operation Galuga for Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The pre-order for the game and related collector's editions, as well as exclusive merchandise, will be available from March 1st to April 14th, 2024.

Contra: Operation Galuga is a reimagining of the classic run 'n' gun NES/arcade game from the 1980s, featuring iconic gameplay, weapons, and co-op combat. Limited Run Games' physical editions include a Standard Edition, a Classic Edition with a silver retro box and throwback collectibles, and a Collector's Edition with an art book, full soundtrack, and exclusive Bill and Lance action figures.

In addition to the game, fans can pre-order exclusive merchandise, such as a t-shirt, key chain, skate deck, and a premium 24” x 36” poster. The Contra: Operation Galuga Standard Edition includes a physical copy of the game and a manual, while the Classic Edition comes in a silver retro box with a CD soundtrack selection, NES dust jacket, and double-sided poster. The Collector's Edition includes all the contents of the Classic Edition, as well as an artbook, stickers, patch, pin, dog tags, SteelBook, full CD soundtrack, and Bill & Lance action figure set.
