The demo version of the game is now available on Steam, offering an immersive experience into this pixelated world where players must build their base, command a squad, and fight off alien invaders.
Deadlock Station's gameplay features strategic auto battles, where players plan out attacks by positioning units and queuing unique abilities. The environment plays a crucial role in battles, as players can lead heroes into damage-boosting anomalies, lure enemies into traps, and erect barricades. Between expeditions, players can develop their base to unlock new items, characters, and factions, while upgrading their squad with weapons, armor, items, and mutations.
Mysterious alien artifacts can be utilized during combat to gain an advantage, adding another layer of strategy to the game. Luxorix Games, an indie game team, developed Deadlock Station using GameMakerStudio2. CRITICAL REFLEX, an indie game publishing label, is on a mission to find and promote high-quality games, including Deadlock Station.
In Deadlock Station, players must uncover the truth behind the Event and the disappearance of humans while battling alien invaders. The game's demo is now available on Steam, and interested players can follow Luxorix Games on Twitter for updates.
