Coffee Talk Tokyo Debuts Free Demo: Meet New Characters in the Spin-off Game

Pc Games Indie Game Role Playing Game Free To PlayChorus Worldwide, a video game publisher, has released a free demo for its upcoming game, Coffee Talk Tokyo, on Steam to celebrate its 11th anniversary. The game is the latest installment in the Coffee Talk series, which takes place in an alternate universe where humans and fantastical beings coexist. The player assumes the role of a barista, offering comfort and advice to customers while serving them unique drinks.
Coffee Talk Tokyo is a spin-off of the previous games, set in a new café with all-new characters. The demo introduces some of these characters, including Vin, a barista's assistant dealing with a tragic accident, Jun, a musician struggling with a creative block, and Ayame, a ghost trying to navigate her afterlife.
Chorus Worldwide, which ranked #3 in Metacritic's 2024 Game Publisher Rankings, is developing the game with the support of Toge Productions, the developer of the original Coffee Talk games. The full game is set to release later in 2025.
Chorus Worldwide is a global publisher that has helped indie developers break into the Asian market and has found success with games like Coffee Talk and the Asian releases of The Room and The Room Two. Toge Productions is an Indonesian-based game development and publishing studio that supports the Toge Game Fund Initiative (TGFI), a mentoring and funding program for developers in Southeast Asia.
