Chimera Entertainment Announces Songs of Silence: Lighteaters DLC, Launching Feb 20, 2025

Chimera Entertainment, an independent game studio, has announced the release of the first faction DLC for its Art Nouveau-inspired fantasy strategy game, Songs of Silence. The DLC, titled Lighteaters, will be available on Windows PC via Steam and GOG on February 20, 2025, with a console release to follow. The Lighteaters DLC will be priced at $7.99 USD, with regional pricing applied.

The Lighteaters DLC introduces a new faction to the game, which will be available in Skirmish and Multiplayer modes. While the expansion does not add new campaign missions, it brings a wealth of strategic options, including 2 new Hero Archetypes, 6 new Hero Vocations, 8 new Units, 5 new Strategy Cards, 8 new Battle Cards, 1 new Unit Perk, and 1 new Capital. Players who do not own the DLC can still engage in battles against Lighteaters faction owners, ensuring a unified experience for all players.

A preview version of the Lighteaters DLC is now available for press and content creators. To access the Steam beta version, follow the steps provided in the article. The Early Access press version is currently available in English only, but full localization for all supported languages will be available on launch day.

Songs of Silence was released on November 13, 2024, on Windows PC via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store, as well as on PlayStation® 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
