Indie developer TP-Y has announced the upcoming release of their stealth capture action game, Chickeat Catch, set to launch later in 2024. The game will be available on Steam, with a planned price of $9.99 (tax included). Players will assume the role of Niwa, who is tasked with capturing and shipping chickens, known as Chickeats, to repay a substantial loan.

Chickeat Catch features third-person stealth gameplay, requiring players to sneak up on Chickeats from behind, as they will run away once spotted. Captured Chickeats can be shipped at the farm to earn money, with the ultimate goal of repaying the loan. The game features 25 different types of Chickeats, each with varying levels of alertness, speed, and sell value. Rare Chickeats with low spawn rates add an exciting element of exploration to the game.

In Chickeat Catch, players must balance the urgency of debt repayment with the empathy of shipping off Chickeats, who will have sad faces when being shipped. The game offers a unique blend of stealth, action, and capture mechanics, with a charming art style and lighthearted tone.
