The Farm 51, a game development company, has revealed the first gameplay footage of their upcoming post-apocalyptic action RPG, Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone. The game is set to launch in 2025 on PC and consoles. Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is a post-apocalyptic action RPG that features a huge and realistic open world, challenging combat, unique crafting, and team and base management, all set in the dangerous Chornobyl Exclusion Zone.

The game is set in an open world environment that is based on the real Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, where Chernobylite has taken over and transformed many of its elements. Players will take on the role of a planeswalker who travels through parallel worlds in search of Chernobylite, a high-energy material. The game features character development, diverse combat, and team-building elements. Players can create and develop their hero, with attributes and skills affecting combat effectiveness and conversation style. The combat system is a massive expansion of its predecessor, with the introduction of advanced melee weapons and a crafting system.

Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone also features plane walking, which allows players to adapt their build and equipment to the situation. Players can also embark on a team-building journey, where they can discover the unique strengths and abilities of their mates. The game also features base development, where players can create valuable items and upgrade their weapons every day. Players can also fight for domination and negotiate with factions, and experience online cooperative missions embedded in a single-player campaign.
