Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is hosting a pop-up event in Los Angeles to celebrate PAC-MAN's 44th birthday. The event, called PAC-MAN Shine On, will take place on May 25-26 at The Magic Box in downtown Los Angeles. The event is free and open to all ages, and will feature a life-size maze, classic PAC-MAN arcade cabinets, amusement games, aura reading photo booth, live screen printing, and playable stations of the new game PAC-MAN™ MEGA TUNNEL BATTLE™: CHOMP CHAMPS.

PAC-MAN Shine On is a retro-futuristic reimagining of the legendary video game character, where nostalgic arcade aesthetics mix with a modern neon twist. The event will include photo ops with PAC-MAN himself, free games to play, giveaways, music by DJ PAC-MAN, food trucks and more.

The event was first held in New York City in October and is now coming to Los Angeles for the first time. Registration for the event is available on Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc's website. The event will take place from 12:00 to 6:00 pm PT on both days.

PAC-MAN made his debut on May 22, 1980, and has since become one of the most recognizable video game characters in the world. The new game PAC-MAN™ MEGA TUNNEL BATTLE™: CHOMP CHAMPS is a 64-multiplayer game that was released recently. The event is designed to celebrate the iconic character and give fans of all ages a chance to experience the game in a new and interactive way.
