CATAN – Console Edition: Cities & Knights Expansion - Prepare for Battle

The Cities & Knights expansion for the console version of the popular board game CATAN has been released. This expansion, one of the most popular among avid CATAN players, introduces new rules, game mechanics, and commodities. Players must work together to repel barbarian invasions, with the size of the horde depending on the total number of cities on the board. The weakest player will see their city sacked and reduced to a settlement if the barbarians are not successfully repelled.

The Cities & Knights expansion is the final piece of content in the CATAN – Console Edition Season Pass, which also includes the base game and other expansions and content packs. The expansion is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Series X/S consoles, and Nintendo Switch.

CATAN – Console Edition: Cities & Knights is priced at £14.99/$17.99/€17.99, and the Season Pass is priced at £24.99/$29.99/€29.99. Players who already own the base game can purchase the expansion, and those who want to access all of the content can purchase the Season Pass.

CATAN is a contemporary classic board game that has sold more than 40 million units worldwide and is available in more than 40 languages. It has a wide range of expansions, extensions, scenarios, standalone games, and digital adaptations. The game was created by Klaus Teuber and originally released in Germany in 1995. Dovetail Games is responsible for developing and publishing the console version of CATAN.
