KLab Inc., a leading mobile game developer, has announced the Dream Championship 2025 tournament for its head-to-head football simulation game, Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team. This is the seventh Dream Championship for the game, which will determine the world's number one player, with a prize of an equivalent of 10 million yen. The tournament will consist of Qualifiers, Final Stage Tournaments, and a Championship Tournament. The Qualifiers will include two stages: Season Qualifiers and Dream Team Cup Qualifiers. The Season Qualifiers will have Rank Match Qualifiers, where players will compete for Online Points, and the top two players from each Season's Final Stage Tournaments will proceed to the Championship Tournament. The Dream Team Cup Qualifiers will include in-game events for both the Japanese and Global versions of the game, and the top four players will compete in the Final Stage Tournaments for a place in the Championship Tournament. The Championship Tournament is scheduled to be broadcast live on YouTube and other platforms. Players will receive exclusive merchandise, in-game items, and more. The Season Qualifiers will begin on May 31, and the Championship Tournament is scheduled for mid to late October. The game, Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, is a head-to-head football simulation game with over 90 million copies sold worldwide. It is available for free on Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS devices.
