Capcom Unleashes New Details on Akuma in Street Fighter 6, Monster Hunter Stories' Platform Expansion, and Exoprimal Title Update 4

Role Playing Game Early AccessCapcom has revealed new information about several upcoming titles and updates in its Capcom Highlights Day 2 video presentation. The presentation included a first look at Akuma in Street Fighter™ 6, which is set to release in Spring 2024. The demonic character will be playable in all three game modes: Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub. The Battle Hub will also feature a Mega Man™-themed Fighting Pass this month, including rewards and a Street Voter event.
Capcom also announced that Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be available on new platforms starting June 14, 2024. Monster Hunter Stories will be released on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam, while Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be available on PlayStation 4. The new releases will include full Japanese and English voiceovers, new subtitle languages, and new features such as Museum Mode and title updates.
Exoprimal Title Update 4 is set to release on April 17, 2024, and will include two new game modes, six additional Exosuit variants, and a collaboration with the Mega Man series. The new modes are "Time Loop Rebellion," a co-op challenge mode, and "Custom Match," which allows players to create their own lobbies and select specific maps and mission types. The update will also introduce new Beta variant Exosuits, modules, and a mortar rig for further customization.
Capcom Cup XI, the epic conclusion of the Capcom Pro Tour (CPT) 2024 season, will award a $1 million grand prize to the Grand Finals winner. The Street Fighter League (SFL): Pro-JP 2024 season will also start in July, featuring three new teams and a total of 12 teams vying for the title.
