Virtual Sky Interactive, a Houston-based game development studio, has released the teaser trailer for their upcoming narrative adventure game, Café New York 9/11. The game is set in a Lower Manhattan café on the morning of September 11, 2001, and follows the story of Sameer, a Pakistani-American café owner. The game focuses on the personal experiences of the café's patrons, including firefighters, office workers, and tourists, as they navigate the hours leading up to the attacks.

Café New York 9/11 is a character-driven narrative adventure game that explores themes of community, identity, and resilience in the face of uncertainty. The game features meaningful dialogue, player-driven choices, and richly detailed environments to create an immersive and emotional experience. The soundtrack includes authentic Pakistani music and the sounds of the café and city, creating a sense of realism and atmosphere.

The game is currently in development for PC and Xbox and is set to be released on Steam. Players can wishlist the game to follow its progress and support the studio's mission of telling human-centered stories through games. The game is not focused on the events of 9/11 themselves, but rather the personal stories of those affected by the attacks.

Virtual Sky Interactive is an independent game studio founded by Baqir Shah, who has previously worked on globally recognized titles such as Fortnite, Temple Run, and Life is Strange: Double Exposure. The studio is dedicated to telling real human stories through interactive experiences and continues this mission with Café New York 9/11.
