The Federation has partnered with UK Coaching, 1st4sport, the National Crime Agency, UNICEF UK, and the NSPCC to create two initial online learning programs: 'Duty to Care in Esports' and 'Introduction to Esports Coaching.' With the increasing popularity of esports and the upcoming Olympic Esports Games in 2027, it is crucial to establish effective talent identification and development pathways, and well-trained coaches are essential to this process. The Coach Development Framework identifies core knowledge, skills, and behaviors that coaches and leaders in esports need, while the Coach Development Pathway supports the global community of aspiring and existing esports coaches through professional development and training opportunities. The 'Duty to Care in Esports' program is a free online learning program focused on the moral and ethical responsibilities of all stakeholders in the esports industry, and 'Introduction to Esports Coaching' is an esports coaching program endorsed and certified by UK Coaching and 1st4sport.
