Mobile Gaming Sports Indie Game Free To Play
Delabs Games is introducing a Telegram version of its popular mobile sports game, Boxing Star, which has surpassed 60 million downloads and generated over $76.9 million USD in global revenue. The new version, called Boxing Star X, will be available for a closed beta test from January 7 to January 14, ahead of its full release planned for the first quarter.
Boxing Star X retains the same universe and characters as the original game, but leverages Telegram's community features to enhance user collaboration and communication. The game will also feature Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, as a playable character, in a move that is expected to strengthen the partnership between Telegram and Delabs Games in the gaming platform sector.
Delabs Games plans to pivot its strategic focus to the Telegram gaming platform and develop games with enhanced social features. The company has experience in this area, having previously achieved success on the Kakao gaming platform with titles such as Blade. Delabs Games aims to establish a strong foothold in the rapidly growing Telegram gaming and LINE Mini Dapp markets.
