Pc Games Indie GameBit66, a solo developer studio, has announced the release of the demo for their new game, Book Bound. This cozy bookshop simulation game allows players to run their own bookstore and customize the decoration in pixel art. The demo includes features such as character creation, inviting people, helping customers find books, keeping the shop tidy, and unlocking more books in different genres. However, there are limitations in the demo, such as no game saving and limited books and genres. The full version of Book Bound is set to release on Steam in 2025, and players can keep up with updates through Bluesky, Discord, and Twitter/X. Bit66 has been making hobby games since 2016 and Book Bound is their second commercial title, aiming to create a cozy atmosphere with low stress gameplay.
