Daedalic Entertainment and Exordium Games have announced their collaboration on Bloodgrounds, a turn-based tactical RPG set to release on PC in 2025. The game combines tactical grid combat, deep squad management, RPG progression, and roguelite elements, with players commanding teams of gladiators in the desolate city of Marevento. Every gladiator's death is permanent, adding a layer of hardcore roguelite stakes to the gameplay.

The striking visual style of Bloodgrounds blends dark fantasy and gritty pixel-art gore, appealing to fans of games like XCOM, Darkest Dungeon, Heroes of Might and Magic, Into the Breach, and Battle Brothers. Key features include highly tactical turn-based combat, deep squad management, and a dark fantasy world filled with political intrigue.

A demo of Bloodgrounds is now available on Steam, giving players a taste of the game's intense battles, layered management systems, and unforgiving world. Exordium Games, founded in 2014 in Zagreb, Croatia, has created over 100 games and accumulated over 20 million mobile users. Daedalic Entertainment, a renowned publisher since 2007, supports indie developers and brings their titles to every major gaming platform.

Bloodgrounds is just one of many upcoming games from Daedalic Entertainment, which includes The Occultist, Woodo, Coins, Crown & Cabal, Surviving Deponia, and more. Daedalic Entertainment has been a subsidiary of the French publishing house and creator of gaming accessories, Nacon, since April 2022.
