Bloodbreaker: Labyrinth of the Witch is a roguelite, Metroidvania game developed by Filipino studio Phoenix Up! Media and published by Soft Source. The game is set to release in 2026 and is now available to wishlist on Steam.
In Bloodbreaker, players take on the role of Ayana Crimson, a day-walking vampire with a thirst for demon blood, on a mission to save her brother and uncover the truth about her family. The game features a challenging difficulty level and an ever-changing labyrinth filled with corruption and decay.
The visual style of Bloodbreaker is a blend of classic gothic aesthetics, eerie lighting, and a vibrant, saturated color palette, with stylized character designs influenced by anime and manga art. The game is inspired by the Castlevania series and aims to appeal to contemporary audiences.
Bloodbreaker will be showcased at PAX East 2025 with a playable demo, and a press kit and announcement trailer are available on the game's website. Phoenix Up!
