Bleak Faith: Forsaken, a souls-like open world survival horror action RPG developed by Archangel Studios, is set to release on PS5 and XBSX on August 6, 2024. The game will be available for digital purchase on the PS5 and XBSX stores for £29.99 / €34.99 / $39.99. A physical version will also be available in certain regions from September 13, with an SRP of £34.99 / €39.99.

Since its initial release on PC, Archangel Studios has provided free content updates, including the addition of COOP multiplayer. The console version of the game will include updates such as the use of the DualSense controller, an updated block and parry system, charged heavy attacks, new enemies, a new boss model, an updated protagonist model, large UI changes, and overhauled controller support. These updates will also be available on the PC version at the console launch.

In Bleak Faith: Forsaken, players take on the role of one of the Forsaken, the last line of defense for humanity against the growing horrors of the Omnistructure. This interconnected and surreal environment combines dark gothic medieval and brutal modernist architecture. Players must explore the last remnants of civilization and uncover its history while battling the dangers within.

The game is known for its stunning atmosphere and challenging combat, which requires players to carefully manage their resources and master timing and positioning. Progression is achieved through gear customization rather than traditional leveling, offering a new twist on the souls-like genre. Players can choose a class and progress into their preferred playstyle, but must be mindful of the irreversible consequences of certain choices. The game features a unique and oppressive atmosphere, memorable boss fights, and a variety of enemies to overcome.
