Awaken Realms, an independent game developer, has announced that their game, Blacksmith: Ignite the Forge, will be launching on Steam on July 14th at 5 PM CEST. The game is a unique blend of simulator, strategy, and auto-battler genres, where players take on the role of a blacksmith.

As a blacksmith, players are tasked with developing a fully functional forge, complete with various rooms such as mines, a smithing area, a shop, a battle preparation room, a tavern, and more. They must gather metal ores, smelt them into alloys with different properties, and shape them into legendary weapons during an engaging mini-game. The quality of the work will determine the deadliness of the weapon.

Players can also hire and equip mercenaries, each with different combat skills, to support different team-building strategies.
