Pearl Abyss has announced the development of native builds of Black Desert Console for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series, which will be released by the first half of 2025. The upgrade will be available for free to all current Black Desert Console owners. The PlayStation 5 version has completed internal development and is nearing platform certification, while the Xbox Series X version is still in development. Larger-scale updates such as the Land of the Morning Light Expansion will follow the release of the native builds.

On December 12, 2024, Pearl Abyss will release exciting updates for players, including Kharazad Accessories, an upgradeable item set, and an Accessory Exchange System that allows players to exchange parts of the Deboreka accessory set. Daily Rewards & Special Events will also be introduced, offering beneficial items and significant buffs for PvE, PvP, and life skills until March 2025.

Black Desert IP is Pearl Abyss' open-world action MMORPG franchise with cutting-edge visuals and skill-based combat. The company is currently servicing the Black Desert IP, which has gained 55 million players across the world on PC, mobile, and console.
