Bionic Bay Delayed to April 2025: New Demo and Online Mode Revealed

The release date of the sci-fi platformer game, Bionic Bay, has been pushed back to April 17, 2025, giving the two independent studios, Mureena and Psychoflow Studio, a few more weeks to refine the game. A new playable demo featuring the exciting online mode will be released on Steam in the coming weeks. This preview will allow players to experience Bionic Bay Online, where they can take on speedrun challenges, race against the ghosts of other players, and climb the online leaderboards.

Bionic Bay is a unique pixel-platformer game that puts players in the safety shoes of a scientist trapped in a mysterious biomechanical world. The game features realistic physics interactions and stunning pixel art. With its meticulously designed levels and precise gameplay, Bionic Bay offers creative mechanics such as Swap, Time Freeze, and Power Fist, which allow players to manipulate space-time to overcome obstacles. The game is set in a strange world filled with advanced ancient technologies like force rays, super-magnets, time anomalies, and anti-gravity liquid.

Bionic Bay is the passion project of a small but dedicated team that has received recognition for its efforts. The game was awarded the Best Game Design Award at the Taipei Game Show. Bionic Bay will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on April 17, 2025.
