Bee Simulator: The Hive, a game developed by Untold Tales and VARSAV Game Studios, has released a new gameplay trailer in preparation for its upcoming release. The game is an expansion of the original Bee Simulator game, which came out in November 2019, and aims to provide a fresh new experience for players. The Hive expansion includes new content and mechanics, such as the ability to build and customize your own bee hive colony, gather resources, set up outposts, and unlock various buildings. Bee Simulator: The Hive is set to release on PC on August 4th, 2025, with the PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox releases planned for later in the year.

In addition to the gameplay trailer, the team behind Bee Simulator: The Hive recently visited a local bee farm in Poland and released a video featuring a real beekeeper who shared insights into the life of bees and the process of making honey. The game features a single-player story where players take on the role of a worker bee and explore a vast, semi-open world map inspired by New York's Central Park. The Hive expansion allows players to build and customize their own beehive, optimize resource-gathering, and interact with various elements in the game world.

Bee Simulator: The Hive also includes mini-games, split-screen co-op for up to four players, and a peaceful and immersive soundtrack composed by Mikołaj Stroiński. The game promises to provide an educational and entertaining experience for players of all ages.
