The game "These Doomed Isles," a roguelike survival city builder, is leaving Steam Early Access and releasing its 1.0 content update today. The update includes a new Campaign Mode, where players can become powerful gods and create new worlds with unique missions for each of the game's four playable gods. The progression system has also been overhauled, allowing players to earn Miracle Credits to unlock powerful new cards and build their godly deck across each run.

In the Campaign Mode, players can play as Cernunnos, the Celtic god of nature; Plutus, the Greek god of wealth; Acan, the Mayan god of wine; and Inari, the Japanese God of Rice and Prosperity. Each god has unique powers and abilities, and players can discover new scenarios showcasing their powers. The update also introduces a new Challenge Mode, where players can unleash their might across a series of increasingly difficult challenges.

In "These Doomed Isles," players must build new lands, harvest resources, provide shelter, and protect their civilization from various threats. They can wield the power of a god, use world-changing cards to create lands, place forests, and secure their civilization's survival. Players must also manage their deck, discovering powerful card combinations capable of providing bountiful harvests, constructing new buildings, or raining devastation down upon their enemies.

"These Doomed Isles" is a game by Triplevision Games Limited, a tiny gamedev studio with big ideas, focused on creating games with character that push classic genres in new directions. Fireshine Games, a global publisher of digital and physical video games based in London, England, publishes the game. The game is available now on Steam, and players can build their settlements, protect their civilization from raiders, beasts, and mythical monstrosities, and learn from failure to perfect their strategy and reign victorious.
