Indie Game Early Access Pc Games Free To Play Role Playing Game

BAPBAP, the roguelike party game that has gained viral popularity on TikTok, is set to release on Steam Early Access on March 12th, 2025. The game features over 1 trillion combinations of ridiculous characters, game-breaking augments, and chaotic sandbox elements, allowing players to craft giga-unfair builds to outplay their friends.

Some of the game's features include an absurd hero roster, voiced by popular creators such as Tyler1, cDawgVA, Emiru, Karl Jacobs, Shxtou, and TinaKitten, game-breaking augments that can turn players into immovable kaiju ducks or walking nuclear disasters, and custom rules and chaos mode that allow players to set up custom lobbies and tweak game settings.

BAPBAP's combat is skill-based, with everything being dodgeable, and the game offers a sandbox of stupidity that allows players to drop crane payloads to block escape routes, throw turrets on jump pads to yeet them at enemies, or homerun bat someone into a teleporter alongside a nuclear bomb. The game has no matchmaking or ranks, just chaos, and players can join random games from the server list or play with friends.

The free version of BAPBAP will net players five characters plus a rotating roster, while a one-time character pack purchase of $10 will unlock the whole cast forever. As a launch bonus, players who make an account before March 19th will receive the character pack for free.

BAPBAP is developed by a small indie dev team that met on Reddit and started with three devs with a shared passion. The team has learned that it's hard to satisfy an active matchmaking playerbase for a battle royale mode on an indie marketing budget, and thus decided to change BAPBAP into a party game that players can enjoy with friends. The new mode has been well-received by the playerbase, giving the team the confidence to launch the game as it is.
