Baldur's Gate 3's Patch 7 Arrives on Consoles & Mac with Mods, Evil Endings & More

Baldur's Gate 3 has released a new patch, Patch 7, which is now available on video game consoles and Mac. This update includes a variety of new features and improvements, such as a mod manager for in-game mods created by the community, new 'Evil Endings' for villainous playthroughs, and revamped split-screen gameplay for couch co-op multiplayer. The patch also includes quality-of-life improvements to scripting, writing, animations, and general gameplay.

In addition to the new patch, Larian Studios has also released an animation with Mashed featuring the Baldur's Gate 3 Origin Characters taking on the Wizard of Mod and his army of unfiltered chaos. The studio has also launched a new channel, Larian: Channel from Hell, which will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes looks, developer interviews, and more regularly scheduled chaos.

Baldur's Gate 3, which was released in August 2023, has won over 200 Game of the Year Awards, including five major trophies from the BAFTA Game Awards, Golden Joysticks, Game Developers Choice, DICE, and The Game Awards. The game is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S with cross-save functionality.
