Firenut Games and solo developer José Manuel Conesa Hernández have released the horror game Backrooms Level X on Steam for PC at £9.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 with a 20% launch discount. The game will also be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch soon.

Backrooms Level X is a first-person survival horror experience set in the warped, liminal spaces of the Backrooms. Players must navigate through a terrifying labyrinth of eerie corridors, solve puzzles, and survive against relentless, unseen horrors. The game features over 13 expansive levels, mysterious entities, and monstrous bosses.

The game is based on a strange incident that occurred in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1986. Players will uncover secrets and a gripping narrative as they explore unique environments, face brain-teasing challenges, and survive with nothing but their instincts.

Backrooms Level X delivers an oppressive, atmospheric horror experience with haunting visuals and constant tension and dread. Players must be careful as mysterious entities lurk in the shadows, and every sound may be the last they hear.
