AWAKEN: Astral Blade Announced for Global Release on Oct 22, 2024 - Pre-order Tania’s Edition

Pc Games Indie Game Action Game Role Playing Game Sony Playstation Early AccessESDigital Games, a global indie publisher, has announced that their Metroidvania side-scrolling action game, AWAKEN: Astral Blade, will be released on October 22, 2024, for PC (via Steam and EGS) and PlayStation 5. Developed by Dark Pigeon Games, AWAKEN: Astral Blade is part of the third phase of the China Hero Project and has received the ‘Best in Play GDC 2024’ award. The game follows Tania, a bionic clone, as she ventures into the rainforests in search of a missing team of researchers and uncovers ancient secrets that reveal the mysteries of her origins and destiny.
Meridiem, a publishing partner, will release a special physical version of AWAKEN: Astral Blade for PlayStation 5, titled ‘Tania’s Edition.’ This edition includes a specially designed slipcase, a printed Lore Book, the digital soundtrack, a sticker featuring the Mech Mutant Prototype, and access to post-release content DLC and additional outfits for Tania.
AWAKEN: Astral Blade is a 2D side-scrolling action fairy tale game that allows players to control the course of the story, collect the mysterious Aether to improve Tania's combat skills and strength, and discover ancient secrets buried deep within the ruins of Jacha City. The game features a wide range of combos, parrying enemy attacks, and reducing the difficulty level if players have trouble in combat.
