The game, developed by Kiroo Games, was once an amateur project on RPG Maker and has evolved into a beautifully designed indie game. Aurion is the first console game ever released by a black-owned studio in Africa. The game features fast-paced real-time combat inspired by the Tales-Of series and a mature, cliché-free storyline about the challenges of remaining altruistic in a cynical world.

Aurion's development was not without its challenges. When Kiroo Games was starting, the studio had to reassure partners and investors of its ability to create a game in Africa, as none of the team members had professional training. However, the team's determination and passion for gaming led to the creation of Aurion, a game that covers profound subjects with endearing characters.
