Atomic Picnic, the anime-inspired co-op roguelike shooter from BitCake Studio, has recently received a major content update during its Steam Early Access. This update introduces a new playable character called Rose, an ex-military sniper with unique abilities and a Jetbelt. Additionally, a new Weapon Mods system has been added, offering new ways to customize weapons and playstyles, including primary mods, reload mods, and skill mods.

The Discoveries system has also been revamped, with new goals and rewards that are more interesting and complex. Discoveries now require players to satisfy multiple conditions, such as dealing a specific amount of damage with a particular device. Returning players have the option to reset their Discoveries progression, with everything previously unlocked needing to be earned again.

The update also includes various tweaks, balances, and UI changes. BitCake Studio plans to release more updates for Atomic Picnic during its Early Access period. Players can purchase the game on Steam and join the Atomic Picnic Discord server to stay updated on future developments.
