ATLUS Reveals Metaphor: ReFantazio Release Date and Gameplay in Special Developer Stream

On April 23, 2024, ATLUS hosted a special live stream featuring developers of their upcoming fantasy role-playing game, Metaphor: ReFantazio. Studio Zero's director, Katsura Hashino, showcased an exclusive 30-minute gameplay segment, discussing new details, exciting advancements, and creative inspirations behind the game.

The live stream revealed the game's release date: October 11, 2024. Players will explore a vast world through various locations, such as grand cities and underground waterways, using the armored surfacer as their mobile base and central hub.

The new trailer, "The King's Trial," highlights the game's story and stakes. Viewers can watch the full subtitled live stream and access new materials on the Metaphor: ReFantazio website.

In Metaphor: ReFantazio, players will forge their own destinies and overcome fears in a unique fantasy world. The game will be available on October 11, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam. Pre-orders, including a special physical collector's edition, are now available.
