Atari 7800+ Launches Today: Relive Retro Gaming Classics with Modern Features

PLAION and Atari have collaborated to release the Atari 7800+ console, a replica of the 1986 Atari 7800 with modern features and access to a library of Atari 2600 and 7800 games. The console maintains the original's design while incorporating modern technology, such as HDMI connectivity, widescreen or 4:3 viewing options, and a USB-C charging cable. The Atari 7800+ is compatible with both original and third-party Atari games and comes with a Wireless CX78+ Gamepad.
The Atari 7800+ is available for £99.99 (€119.99) in European retailers and includes Bentley Bear’s Crystal Quest as a pack-in game. Six additional Atari 7800+ games will also be released on November 29, 2024. Additionally, two new solus controllers, the CX40+ Wireless Joystick and the CX78+ Wireless Gamepad, will be available for purchase.
